A Field Guide to Scottish Mythical Creatures: The Glen
University work: Year 3 (2020)

Environment design 2 for my Final Year Project at university.
I researched many creatures found in Scottish myth and folklore in depth and selected a few to design as part of a book. I wanted to stay true to the research I had done while developing a 'watercolour' art style digitally. As one of my weaknesses in art is successfully making a design look creepy, this project helped me to practice drawing subjects I would not normally choose to draw. I also produced supporting environment pieces based off of places I had visited in Scotland.
